Siegel grew up in the New York City area and was exposed to a complete cross-section of art, commencing when he was quite young. He attended a diverse array of what the arts had to offer including theater, theatrical events, performance art, cinema, music of all genres and ballet as well as visual arts which fascinated him most. His family took him to all of the big art shows of the 1970's and 1980's, as well as many obscure, avant-garde exhibits and shows.
Mr. Siegel has contributed works to the fundraising efforts of many local organizations, including AIDS Community Services of Western New York and the Burchfield-Penney Art Center. He is active in the local art community and his personal collection includes many Western New York artists.
In February of 2016, Siegel moved his studio to it's current home. The studio is equipped to his specifications and is adjoined by a large gallery space in which some of his more recent work is on display.
Mr. Siegel welcomes opportunities to show his newest body of work and to creating much more as he and his artwork evolve.
Siegel Art Studio
Harvey Siegel studied Fine Arts in the New York City area in the early 1980’s, prior to relocating to Buffalo. He now considers himself a Buffalonian and particularly enjoys the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Western New York. Although his academic and career focus changed to practicing law, the Arts remain his first love.
